This isn't easy for me. I've long thought about what I would say if this day ever came, but honestly I was able to convince myself this would never happen. Sure, you were getting older and showing your age in some ways, but in others you seemed immortal.
And yes, we had our share of problems, but we always worked through them together. Through the late nights, the coffee, and the frustration, you were there for me when no one else was.
