IE6 was a best friend of mine. Although he plagued the entire world wide web with his dominance and killed other browser competitors but you would still simply appreciate his dominant presence in your daily internet life. From regular users' point of view he was always there when they needed him, he came standard, without begging, with their computer and he was very stable as long as they had surfed the sites that were specially tailored towards his capability. We can't blame him solely for dominating the web what else he can do if there were no strong contenders to face him :( However, he made corporate life bit easier as all the applications used by them were forced to be tailored to him.
Du plus loin que je me souvienne, Internet Explorer 6 est le navigateur que j'ai connu au début de mon expérience sur l'informatique ... Il restera en tout cas dans ma mémoire même si on lui reproche de nombreuses failles de sécurité ...
I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of going to the funeral of some jerk, and everybody talks nice about him. IE6 lived a self-driven and rebellious life, and he got all he deserved, I say good riddance!
