It is with mixed feelings we remember IE6's passing. Whilst renowned mostly for his foul play and horrendous bedside manner, buying other browser's support never required clients to pay us triple our frontend development costs.
Perhaps now people will finally second-guess how badly they need it, and at work or in the ground, we can all rest in peace.

This isn't easy for me. I've long thought about what I would say if this day ever came, but honestly I was able to convince myself this would never happen. Sure, you were getting older and showing your age in some ways, but in others you seemed immortal.

And yes, we had our share of problems, but we always worked through them together. Through the late nights, the coffee, and the frustration, you were there for me when no one else was.

You are gone but not forgotten.

Thou who was anti anti-alias, I'll miss you from the bottom of my crushed heart. You never could accept your children, or side by side classes. If only you would have believed in your siblings, or more transparent with your feelings. You never learned to accept attributes of others. I tried to constrain the limits of your size... I asked you to be fixed... but you denied.

I'm afraid your crippled genes have been passed on to son.. you never did treat your descendants well. Like you, he can't focus, and really doesn't like things before or after. As we stand here in remembrance of your glory, I can see a tear dripping from the tip of the e's eye as your son and grand-daughter realize that their end is just around the bend.

Oh, where to begin? The long nights I spent with you positioning tables (early in our relationship) then divs will not be soon forgotten. You were there to witness my hair pulling, face squishing, monitor punching fits and just watched, ever so stoically, as tears filled my eyes when I finally found a work around and knew we'd be okay. You were so understanding when I found my new, foxy friend and even when I came back to you just to check in, you didn't mind the virtual window that I insisted stay between us. Fare thee well, old friend.
